KNOWSHOW announces partnership with Cube Business Media and MediaEdge Communications
New partnership enhances ability to deliver premium event experience to Canadian action sports, lifestyle and fashion retailers.
Vancouver, BC – July 18th, 2016 – Vancouver-based KNOWSHOW, a biannual tradeshow for Canadian retailers, announced it is expanding its offerings via a strategic partnership with Cube Business Media and MediaEdge Communications. KNOWSHOW offers Canadian retailers the chance to meet face to face with influential and essential brands, and plan their seasonal product buying strategies.
“KNOWSHOW is all about introducing what’s in retail stores next season for action sports, lifestyle and fashion brands in the Canadian retail market,” says Mark Stephenson, President of Cube Business Media, a boutique conference company based in Vancouver. “The event has continued to maintain its relevance during a decade of fundamental change in the retail landscape.”
While always evolving, the Canadian marketplace is founded with independent retailers as unique as the different regions they hail from. These retailers rely on a consistent trade event where they can preview in person the best products from global brands such as Herschel Supply Co., Volcom, Nixon, Stance & Dakine.
KNOWSHOW was co-founded in 2005 by industry veterans Nick Brown, Ben Couves and Perry Pugh. Pugh has watched it develop into a mainstay of the Canadian action sport and fashion industries. Vancouver global lifestyle brand Herschel Supply has participated since its inception. Herschel Supply Co-Founder, Lyndon Cormack says, “KNOWSHOW is where we were able to debut our brand and build a strong core of business in our own back yard.”
Today, Perry Pugh is proud to take KNOWSHOW to the next level through the new partnership. “We have been working hard for the last decade to offer a world class trade event for the Canadian retail industry. KNOWSHOW will continue to produce biannual events at the Vancouver Convention Centre, bringing Canadian retailers and brands together.
